Characteristics
*As is true in all stories and folk lore Vampires are blessed with the usual super speed and strength. They also have amazing senses when it comes to hearing and scent. Usually a human won't see a vampire move but that's also because vampires have the natural ability to trick a person's mind into making it look almost as if they teleported when in truth, they just moved extremely fast.
*Vampires no matter their age are silent when they want to be. This is part of what makes them so lethal. They also have the ability to be completely still without so much as breathing.
*Blending in isn't generally a problem for vampires however the newer ones have more trouble with the simple gestures such as smiling and moving without making it obvious they aren't human. It takes a lot of practice to appear normal and blend in.
*And of course Vampires don't age. Whatever age a person 'dies' at they stay that age forever.
Feeding and Conversion
*Vampires can consume the blood of any living being. Going off of their diet of blood will cause them to rot away and potentially go insane.
*To turn a human into a vampire a vampire must drain the human of all their blood. At the same time if a vampire doesn't want to kill the human or Lycanthrope they are feeding from they cannot feed more than three times a month.
*As far as blood goes, vampires usually prefer Lycanthrope. It seems to be more sustaining and the wereanimal they feed from cannot contract whatever it is that turns a person into a vampire.
*Vampires when first risen are quite dangerous. The may rise lost to their instincts or confused. In cases of controlled risings (Where the human is consenting to becoming a vampire) upon the rising of the new vampire, there is another vampire there to keep them in check.
Repelling/Killing Vampires
*Also just like in the old stories vampries are unable to enter one's house without permission. That permission can also revoke their invitation which will essentially kick a vampire out.
*Fire can kill a vampire along with complete dismemberment, or a stake through the heart. Silver will not kill a vampire though it will slow them down and cause the wound to heal at human speed. However shoot a vampire in the head and you have the possibilty of killing it.
*Guns have very little effect unless filled with silver.
*Sunlight will burn a vampire. If a vampire steps out into the sun they will burst into flames and die. Painfully.
*Religious symbols will repel a vampire however they only work if the person holding them truely believes in whatever they're holding.
Mental Abilities
*Rolling -- Upon making eyecontact with a vampire one's mind can be 'rolled' which puts them in a state of almost hypnosis. This is what gives the vampires the ability to look as if they've teleported without moving at all.
*Deep Rolling -- This the same as rolling, however it has longer lasting effects. For instance the human who's mind has been rolled can be called upon at any time and be forced to do things in a hypnotic state. This is illegal.
*Mass Hypnosis -- Used to control crowds. Usually used for entertainment purposes. Completely harmless.
*After a few bites if the vampire wishes, they do have the ability to control a person's mind. That's only if they are powerful enough. Also this can be cleansed with holy water.
